Start line on Jagtvej in Østerbro; bag drop in the Runners Area in Fælledparken. Fast single-lap loop through Copenhagen and Frederiksberg past the lakes, Nørrebro and the harbourfront. Flat, wide roads. Confirm the current course map on cphhalf.dk.
Start time
Official gun time 09:30 CEST on Sunday 19 September 2027. You also get a start-group arrival time on the bib — be in pen before that, not only by 09:30. Confirm on the official practical-info page if the schedule shifts.
Entry fee
Indicative entry is £96 per runner. Confirm the current bib price on the official site; ballot, charity, and tour prices can differ. The weekend total (hotel, travel, extras) sits in the estimator, not in the bib price.
Registration
2027 uses a free lottery, not first-come sale (CPH Half 2025 sold out in 2.5 hours). Register individually or in a group of up to three at cphhalf.dk/lotteri from 16–30 September 2026; timing within that window does not change your odds. Selected runners are notified from 5 October and have 48 hours to buy the bib (DKK 795 + 5% admin, about £96). Corporate blocks (25+) sit outside the public draw. Where to stay
Østerbro sits closest to the Jagtvej start and Fælledparken bag drop; Vesterbro and Indre By remain strong metro bases; Nørrebro puts you on the route itself.
Getting there
Copenhagen Airport is 15 minutes to the centre by metro; Østerbro and the Jagtvej start are a short metro hop from downtown.
That weekend
Expo bib collection is typically Saturday; add Nyhavn, Tivoli, and an easy lakes shakeout. Roads close race morning — lean on the metro. SuperHalfs stamp applies to this regular CPH Half edition.
Who it's for
A flat SuperHalfs city half for UK runners who want a short-haul PB weekend and can live with a lottery bib and metro-or-nothing race morning. 45,000-runner field after the 2026 World Championships pause — bigger crowds, same PB-friendly streets. This is 21.1 km, not a marathon. Skip it if you hate ballots or want a tiny local race.

Day 1: Arrive
Fly into Copenhagen (CPH). The Metro reaches the centre in about 15 minutes. Public transport is excellent and the race leans on it heavily (roads close). Book a private transfer for late arrivals.
Check into Østerbro, Vesterbro, Indre By, or Nørrebro . CPH Half is back as the regular mass race — 45,000 runners on Sunday.

Day 2: Shakedown Run and Explore the City
Collect your bib at the CPH Half expo . Confirm Saturday hours on the official programme.
Jog an easy shakeout around the lakes. Afternoon for Nyhavn at a stroll or Tivoli tickets . Pin the bib and rest: Sunday's gun is 09:30 from Jagtvej.

Day 3: Race Day
Start on Jagtvej in Østerbro; bag drop is in Fælledparken. Metro is the best way in on race morning when roads close. Arrive for your start-group time, not only the 09:30 gun.
Afterwards, celebrate in Vesterbro or along the harbour. Keep the evening gentle: flat streets and a big field make this a serious day of racing.

Day 4: Final Day
If the flight allows, one last Nyhavn coffee or a slow canal wander. Metro back to CPH is straightforward.
Three nights covers expo logistics and a calm exit after a fast half.

Race-weekend hotels in Østerbro, Vesterbro, and Indre By are the lever that moves the total; book once the lottery confirms a bib. Flights to CPH are usually predictable short-haul. Three nights is the calculator's shape. Tivoli and canal tours are optional; the metro ticket is not optional on race morning. Entry (DKK 795 + admin) is modest next to the room rate.
