The course
The 10K sets off down the grand Avinguda Diagonal in front of El Corte Ingles and threads through the city to finish at Placa de Catalunya. It is flat, wide and lined with huge crowds, making it a classic spring city celebration.
Where to stay
Eixample puts you closest to the Diagonal start; the Gothic Quarter or El Born are lively bases near the Placa de Catalunya finish.
Getting there
El Prat (BCN) reaches the centre via the Aerobus (~35 min to Placa de Catalunya) or Metro Line 9 Sud plus a change; a taxi is around 25-30 minutes.
That weekend
Registration is free but requires signing up early; pair the run with Gaudi's Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, plus a beach day at Barceloneta.

Day 1: Arrive
Fly into Barcelona (BCN). The Aerobus reaches Plaça Catalunya in about 35 minutes. Public transport works well. Book a private transfer for late arrivals.
Check into Eixample near the Diagonal start . Entry is free but register early on the race site .

Day 2: Shakedown Run and Explore the City
Collect your bib per Cursa El Corte Inglés instructions . Jog an easy shakeout along the Diagonal or toward the beach.
Book Sagrada Família tickets if you want something fixed. Fifty thousand runners make this a spring city celebration.

Day 3: Race Day
Starts on Avinguda Diagonal and finishes at Plaça Catalunya. From Eixample, walk to the start. The course is flat and crowd-lined.
Afterwards, celebrate in El Born or on the beachfront. Keep the afternoon gentle.

Day 4: Final Day
If the flight allows, Park Güell at a stroll or one last Rambla coffee. Aerobus back to BCN is straightforward.
Three nights turns a free mass 10K into a proper Barcelona weekend.
