The course
At the flagship Zug event, runners set off together on a lakeside course and keep going until a moving 'Catcher Car' overtakes them, so there is no fixed finish line. Reaching 10K is a solid, achievable target on the flat shores of Lake Zug, with 100% of fees funding spinal cord research.
Where to stay
Base near Zug's old town by the lake, or stay in nearby Zurich and travel in by train for more hotel choice.
Getting there
Zurich Airport (ZRH) reaches Zug by direct train in roughly 45 minutes; the start area is a short walk from Zug station.
That weekend
Everyone worldwide starts together (2027: 9 May). Switzerland’s Flagship Run returns in Zug; app runners can join from anywhere. Expo/check-in typically sits by the Bossard Arena / OYM hall the day before.
