The course

The race runs out and back along the famous Promenade des Anglais, hugging the Baie des Anges shoreline. It is pancake-flat, sun-soaked and reputedly France's fastest 10K, ideal for a January personal best.

Where to stay

Stay along or just behind the Promenade des Anglais, or in Nice's atmospheric Old Town (Vieux Nice) a short walk from the course.

Getting there

Nice Cote d'Azur (NCE) is about 20-30 minutes from the centre via tram line 2 or a taxi along the coast.

That weekend

Bib pick-up is at a seafront race village; extend the trip with the Old Town markets, the coastal walk to Villefranche, or a day in Monaco.

Sample 4-day trip

Arrive, explore, race, then head home. A proper weekend, not a rushed fly-by.

  1. Day 1: Arrive

Fly into Nice (NCE). Tram line 2 reaches the Promenade des Anglais in about 20–30 minutes. Public transport works well. Book a private transfer for late arrivals.

Check into the Promenade or Vieux Nice . January sun and a pancake-flat course make this France's fastest 10K.

  2. Day 2: Shakedown Run and Explore the City

Collect your bib at the Prom'Classic seafront race village . Jog an easy shakeout along the promenade (not at race pace).

Afternoon for Old Town markets or Monaco day trips . Pin the bib and eat an early dinner.

  3. Day 3: Race Day

Out-and-back along the Promenade des Anglais. From promenade hotels, walk to the start. The course is flat and fast: ideal for a January PB.

Afterwards, celebrate with a long café lunch in Vieux Nice. Keep the afternoon gentle.

  4. Day 4: Final Day

If the flight allows, one last coastal walk toward Villefranche or food tour in Vieux Nice . Tram back to NCE is straightforward.

Three nights turns a January PB 10K into a proper Côte d'Azur break.
