Stay in Remich itself for a walk-to-start weekend, or base in Luxembourg City and drive out on race morning.
Getting there
Luxembourg Airport (LUX) to Remich takes about 50–60 minutes by free public bus (often via Kirchberg). There is no direct rail; a hire car or private transfer is simpler with race kit.

The riverside expo and post-race wine tastings are a highlight; the Moselle wine villages and nearby Schengen make an easy add-on.

Day 1: Arrive
Fly into Luxembourg (LUX). Public transport is free , but the bus to Remich takes about 50–60 minutes, often via Kirchberg, and there is no direct rail. Book a private transfer if you want door-to-door with race kit.
Check into Remich for walk-to-start convenience , or base in Luxembourg City and transfer race morning. Luxembourg City gives better hotel inventory via affiliate search.

Day 2: Shakedown Run and Explore the City
Collect your bib at the riverside expo at Piscine Remich . Jog a very easy shakeout along the Moselle.
Afternoon for Moselle wine tastings or a Schengen village wander. This is a rolling vineyard half, not a PB time trial.

Day 3: Race Day
Starts and finishes in Remich, looping through Moselle hillsides toward Stadtbredimus. Walk to the start if you are staying in town.
Post-race wine tastings are part of the event. Celebrate locally and keep the evening short.

Day 4: Final Day
If the flight allows, one more riverside coffee or Luxembourg old town on the way back. Free buses to LUX work, but a private transfer is simpler with post-race legs.
Three nights is right for a wine-country half without rushing the airport.
